Medrone
Politecnico di Milano
Short description
All the technologies and good designs in the world are just stimuli of the rising needs and wants.
MEDrone is a response to the rising issues in the health-care field with regards to the ever changing dynamics of the user and the usage. It is a product which is for public use and yet feels personal. It is designed to cater almost all the needs of the patients, care-takers and people in need. This autonomous product is controlled by a very centrally optimized system. Users can call the drone via app by specifying their needs. The architecture of the drone is very dynamically modular, The drone has two major components, firstly, the smart aviation system incorporated with artificial intelligence, sensors and cameras; secondly, a modular storage/space unit that serves as an opportunity space to serve various tasks ranging from storage units to CRP units.
MEDrone is a very efficient tool especially in the cases of emergency and isolation. It can act as the ‘first help’ that can arrive before the ambulance does to provide all the prior facilities and amenities. It can serve as a family doctor by arriving for regular check-ups and to collect various samples for analysis. It is also very helpful a midst lock-down (public/private) by delivering prescribed medicines.
My vision of the future is all about efficiency, urgency and tailored products, and MEDrone fits well in that spectrum.
Descriptions for technical requirements
MEDrone uses technologies that allow it to have an autonomous flight and aispace awarness. Its flights can last more than ten hours feeding on inexhaustible resources such as hydrogen and solar light to produce energy. For the vision, uses a 360° Al camera that works with sensors that allow a complete scan of the user's body and objects around
- Al camera
